This program begins with 120 words strategically selected from our Reading Program, ensuring your child will be familiar with them. These words are printed in a readable font and on magnetized paper, ready to be placed on your fridge or used with the included portable metal board. While the words are lowercase, the set also contains capital letters and end marks. Each of the words are color-coded to match the parts of speech they represent in a way that is designed to complement our Handwriting Program, in which colors–such as purple and orange–are consistently used together in order to demonstrate formative relationships. In our Sentence Crafting Program, this theme continues as students use colors to help understand the connections between words, both within their own categories and within their roles in sentence structure at large.

This program has been designed to meet your child’s needs as they grow in their skills. For those just beginning, start with simple two word sentences containing their choice of nouns and verbs. After they’ve mastered that, add in the Pronouns, Adjectives, Adverbs, and Prepositions.
